GAWLIK.me was started by veteran design Dan Gawlik.

Like every other teenager growing up in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Dan enjoyed soccer and surfing, though his passion was basketball. He ignored his teachers when they told him his real talent was art, focusing instead of a glitzy career in the NBA. Headlines scrolled like ticker tape through his head: Hometown Boy Makes Good. What he didn’t know, however, was that knee injuries, a blessing in disguise, would provide him with a very different career.

Dan joined the Air Force after high school and found himself being trained in graphic design. Dan maintains that his current successes are the results of the discipline and training he learned through his military service and the series of surprises that brought his to the burgeoning visual arts market. “Everything happens for a reason,” he says. But Dan is modest. What he doesn’t mention is perhaps the most obvious thing about his work: he is good at it.

Very good, in fact. The sketch artistry from his teenage days have paid off and Dan has shown that his eye for detail and visual instinct are impeccable. Now at 35 years old, his clients have grown into a laundry list of local and national heavyweights, including Kennedy Space Center Federal Credit Union, Sterling Casino Lines, New York, New York Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas and The Hard Rock Cafe.
